1. Information We Collect

We collect: school profile information, student records (names, admission numbers, class assignments), guardian contact details (names, phone numbers, email addresses), payment transaction records (invoice IDs, payment references, amounts, timestamps), and usage analytics.

2. How We Use Information

Information is used to: generate and track invoices, process payment notifications, generate receipts, provide reporting and analytics, send payment reminders, and improve our services.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in encrypted databases. Payment gateway credentials are encrypted at rest. We do not store card numbers, bank PINs, or other sensitive financial data — these are handled entirely by the payment gateway (Paystack/Flutterwave).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with: the school that owns the data (multi-tenant isolation ensures schools cannot access each other's data), payment gateways for transaction processing, and law enforcement when required by Nigerian law.

5. Data Retention

Transaction records are retained for 7 years in compliance with Nigerian financial record-keeping requirements. Student records are retained for the duration of the school's subscription plus 1 year.

6. Your Rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to: access your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements), and withdraw consent for data processing.
